Joining Goldcard is free and has no monthly fee. We review each merchant before it goes live on the map and may ask for your DTI/SEC registration and BIR certificate.
Goldcard charges a transaction fee (standard 3%) on what members pay you with Goldcard. Your current rate is shown in your business settings. Offers you create are funded by you: peso-off and free-item offers reduce the bill; cashback is deducted from your settlement.
Spend from members' Goldcard balance is settled to you minus fees and cashback. Spend from a gift balance at your store was prepaid when you sold the gift card, so it is not settled again. During the pilot, settlement is reconciled manually.
Gift card codes you issue represent value you owe the holder. You may void unused codes; codes already added to a wallet can't be voided.
You may use the customer data shown in your dashboard only to serve those customers and run Goldcard offers, and must protect it under the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
You can leave at any time; outstanding gift balances at your store must still be honoured or refunded. We may suspend merchants for fraud or repeated complaints.
